Hello, my name is Dave. This website was created in 2004 as a platform to display my skills and share content with the world. I built this site manually using Windows Notepad (before it was compromised), utilizing my knowledge of HTML, CSS, and PHP, all without relying on any content management systems. While this process can be somewhat laborious, I have gained a great deal of knowledge from it. For image editing and processing on the site, I generally use Irfanview, Paint.net, and Affinity. I tested the site extensively using the Lighthouse developer tool built into Chrome to fine-tune it, along with various validators and other online tools, to ensure it runs smoothly.
